Was thinking of Mother's Day when I created this piece. It is representative of a family of 5. Could be 2 adults and 3 children in descending ages or 1 adult and 4 children. The brightly coloured figures are created from and hand made fused glass puddles that were processed in a kiln at least 3 times to create the final design. Once created they were fused onto a background of black ebony glass and presented on a self attached easel. No two are ever alike. The driftwood was collected from the shores of the Pacific Ocean.
